Pitch's face twisted into a frown, he didn't want to prove anything to North, he only wished for the blessing. Though he knew that he'd have to, for Jack. "A proof of that my behaviour has change is barely anything, I am still giving children nightmares and I still want to be feared by others. Though in all my years of being here, being left in the shadows...I've never felt happiness not until Jack and I started this relationship. I know it doesn't prove anything but it's all I can say for now."

North patiently listened to what the other had to say, though his brows furrowed and his frown deepened. With a sigh, he simply shook his head.

"Well, Pitch… Then I cannot say I will ever approve. You do no have my blessing."

Pitch kept his posture as if he was some snobby king, which he was of course. "I am going to be honest with you. I had been doing that before, I tried to make him turn his back on the guardians and join me. Things are different this time around. I only want Jack because I love him, not because I want to take down the guardians. I think coming here for you blessing that perhaps one day Jack and I could get married, proves that I do truly love him. Though you can be the judge of that."

You? Wish to marry Jack?

North’s brows raised high. Well, this was certainly an… interesting bit of news to him. Crossing his arms, his brows furrowed, his gaze drifting toward the floor while attempting to make some sense of it all.

"I might need some sort of proof, Pitch. Showing me change of behavior would be good start.”

"Hello North, I understand you don't want me here and trust me, I don't want to be here either but... I am here to ask you of something. I know we both strong dislike one another and you'll highly disapprove but Jack and I are well, in a relationship and I've come to ask you to give us your blessing... for Jack." Pitch sighed heavily, "Don't think I want this but Jack does and I only wish to make him happy."

"Pitch." North regarded the other with a certain degree of contempt in his eyes. This man had done much to wrong both himself, and the other guardians in the past; however, he didn’t fully resent him. He also pitied him.

"What is, that you want my blessing for?” Leaning his weight back, he crossed an arm over his midsection, on which to rest his elbow - a hand grasping the beard at his chin as though to recall a memory, brows furrowed. It wasn’t a good one.

"And why should I give to you?" Casually, he gestured to the other, open-palmed. "As far as I recall, you have been influencing Jack very badly. Attempting to change his mind on being a Guardian."

Remember the Fairy …

The Tooth Fairy.

Positively obsessed with teeth.

Children place their little lost ivories beneath their pillows for her to find in exchange for cash. They’re just that ᴠᴀʟᴜᴀʙʟᴇ, you know.

So valuable, that if you don’t take proper care of your teeth, she might just pay you a visit to rip them right out of your skull.

As she sees it, if you don’t care for your teeth, you mustn’t care much about them, so you surely wouldn’t ᴍɪss them much!
